We operate internationally and many of our computer systems are currently based in the United States. ENFOS complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (altogether referred to as the “DPF” henceforth). We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:

• In the event that we sell any or all of our business to a third party. ENFOS’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the DPF and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the DPF Principles. In particular, ENFOS remains responsible and liable under the DPF Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles, unless ENFOS proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
• Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information. We may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
• To reduce the risk of fraud.

If we ever were to engage in any onward transfers of your data with third parties for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized, we would provide you with an opt-out choice to limit the use and disclosure of your personal data.

On occasion, we include links to third parties on this website. When we provide a link, it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy. You should review their privacy policy before sending them any personal data.

Access to Information

ENFOS, Inc. will retain user provided data for as long as you use the website and for a reasonable time thereafter and will retain other information for up to thirty-six months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. ENFOS acknowledges that EU, UK, and Swiss individuals have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about them. An EU, UK, or Swiss individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct their query to support@enfos.com. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

ENFOS is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). If any provision of this Policy is invalid, illegal or unenforceable under any applicable statute or rule of law, such provision shall be deemed amended to achieve as nearly as possible the same effect as the original provision and the remaining provisions of this Policy shall in no way be affected or impaired.

Privacy Complaints by European Union, United Kingdom, or Swiss Citizens:

ENFOS complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. ENFOS has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. ENFOS has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework Program's Principles, ENFOS, Inc. commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to the DPF Principles. ENFOS has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the DPF Principles to an independent dispute resolution mechanism, Data Privacy Framework Services, operated by BBB National Programs. This service is provided free of charge to you.
